XL2 and the new government’s order

NTi Audio presents its sound level meter: the XL2

Don’t look further for your sound level meter, the XL2 is a perfect match for the new decree of the Walloon Government concerning the broadcasting of amplified sound.

The Class 1 or Class 2 professional decibel meter designed for “amplified sound” legislation.”

The main objective of the new Walloon legislation on the broadcasting of amplified sound has for purpose to protect the public from the nuisance that a large amplified sound can cause without limiting the creativity of artists. It provides a clearer framework for theater operators and people broadcasting amplified sound in the Horeca sector. This is done by enabling them to better raise awareness, inform and sensitive everyone to the health risks of intense or prolonged exposure to amplified sound. Using a sound level meter such as the XL2, they will be able to measure and display the sound levels to which the public is exposed.
