Shax SMPTE Hybrid Alternative Connector Kit

This system allows the user to replace the fibre/copper hybrid cable between the camera and the CCU with standard fibre cable. The Shax system is perfect for Stadiums, Arenas and Concert Halls that have pre-installed fibre networks. Both ends of this system are enclosed in a compact, lightweight, ruggedised aluminium enclosure, ideally suited to Outside Broadcast and Fly Away applications where the camera can be powered locally. Shax extends the range of the camera system and releases the Operator from long lengths of bulky hybrid cable. The mating with the duplex singlemode fibre is done via standard SC, LC, ST or FC connectors.
