The PT-E-HD10 HDMI and IR Single Cat.X extender set included in our PureTools Series allows for transmitting a HDMI signal and a bidirectional infrared control signal over up to 60 meters. The set includes a transmitter with freely configurable EDID and a receiver unit with integrated signal amplifier which can be adjusted in eight levels. Additionally only an affordable Cat.X cable is needed to transmit the signal to a distanced screen, TV or LCD/PC monitor. The extender set is suitable for installation in an AV rack.

One Cable – All Possibilities
With a single, affordable Cat.X cable, even screens which are farther away can easily be reached without any loss of quality. The transmitter converts the HDMI input signal to a Cat signal and sends it to the receiver which then converts it back to HDMI and forwards it to the HDMI output. A network cable can furthermore bidirectionally forward the infrared control signal. Both units are controllable from one spot, saving itineraries.
FullHD Now Works Over Long Distances
With this PureTools extender in combination with a Cat.X cable a secure transmission of FullHD (1080p), respectively 3D signals to a screen over up to 40 metres without loss of quality can be guaranteed. Interpolated HDTV formats up to 1080i can even be transmitted up to 60 metres. The installation is done quickly, existing network cables can possibly be used.
Uncompressed HD Formats
With our PureTools Cat.X extenders, audio and video signals can be transmitted digitally and uncompressed in best quality. HDMI signals with HDCP, 3D and Deep Color support with a resolution up to 1080p (1920×1080) and WUXGA (1920×1200) as well as digital audio signals can be transmitted unaltered up to 7.1 HD.
Freely Configurable EDID
This extender’s transmitter offers seven selectable options for EDID presets. Presets 1 to 6 include the usual screen formats and therefore comply with any used configuration. The seventh preset offers an additional EDID learn function, offering the possibility to read out one’s own EDID data and save it in the extender. This avoids recognition problems of different screen formats.
Integrated Signal Amplifier
An adjustable eight level signal amplifier (Gain) and an integrated signal smoothing at the receiver unit allows for perfect adjustment possibilities for various transmission distances.
