XLR TOP

XLR TOP is the latest series of XLR connectors specially designed by Neutrik to offer enhanced outdoor protection.

The major difference between the old XX series and the new XX-TOP series is that, in addition to being IP65, the new TOP connectors are certified UL 50E/enclosure type 4. The UL 50E standard guarantees that type 4 enclosures constructed for either indoor or outdoor use provide protection to personnel against incidental contact with the enclosed equipment as well as a degree of protection against falling dirt, rain, sleet, snow, windblown dust, splashing water, and hose-directed water; and that they will be undamaged by the external formation of ice on the enclosure.

On top of all that, Neutrik TOP connectors are UV-resistant, which means that the shell of the connectors won’t crack after a long exposure at the sun.
