All Sommer Cable cables with the AQUA label are longitudinally sealed up to a hydraulic pressure of 20 bar or radially sealed (AQUA MARINEX series). The special Sommer Cable PUR-jacket minimizes the ingress of water and other liquids and also prevents longitudinal propagation in case of cable damage. The longitudinal sealing jacket is also strong enough to withstand high pressure sealing sleeves, which are absolutely necessary to prevent moisture ingress.
